DP F7 noid leak
Hey DP guys, I was hoping one of you could help me out. My f7 has a leak in the noid from the green oring from the front screw with the tab. It looks like it was melted, and is all over the threading and screw. What size/material is this? How can I get it replaced?
Thanks.

The oring looks like this. I already reassembled the rest of the gun, but if its really necessary, I can take it apart again.

Not sure what you mean by "from the front screw with the tab" . Do you mean one of the two screws that holds the noid to the marker body? If so, you'll need a replacement since it isn't for a screw....it's for sealing the body air passageway holes to the noid - there should be two of those O-rings (2mm inside diameter X 1mm cross section) and the O-rings go in the spots opposite where the screws go.

No, its one of the ones attached to one of the flat head screws. There's the one with the piston with like 3 orings (I don't quite remember), and the other side has another screw with just this one oring. The green one in the picture.

That is from one of the early Fusions and you do need an oring on that screw. If you have a parts kit it should be in there. There was problems with the green orings, especially in the regulator. I everyones green orings would of been changed out by now.

Cool, thanks. From the diagram, it looks like its part #65, but the parts list on the back doesn't tell me what size, or any info about it. I don't want another oring that's gonna suck.

If you got the cash, might just pick up another noid and avoid any firther problem with that one. They are $35 on their site. At least a back up one.

I know that's an option, however I want to try to avoid it if I can. I'm mainly looking to try to trade it for a different marker. I just picked it up off a trade, and am surprised with how heavy it is.

If you get it working, you will be surprised how smooth they shoot.

Haha we shall see about that. It will all depend on how hard this oring is to find

I think the schematic/parts list for the Fusion has the size. Check my Dangerous Power O-Ring charts thread. I'd link it here but I'm on my phone and feeling a little lazy.

OOH Thanks! I get it now. In my manual, it said null2*null1 and I had no idea what that meant. I'll see if I can find it at oring monkey or something. Nice! Thanks guys.
For future reference: Its 2mm (inner diameter) x 1mm (cross section)

Glad it helped. That's the whole point of doing those charts.
As for finding those small o-rings - O-Ring Monkey should have them. When you look under Dangerous Power, there is the marker kit then a seperate kit for the solenoid. All the DP solenoids use the same size o-rings on the noid piston (which is the same size as that green one you took out) so any of the noid kits will do - but might as well get one for the Fusion/F8.
Also, just a little math/physics side note.....that symbol Ø - the greek letter "phi" - is typically used to designate "diameter". The terms null or naught are terms meaning "zero" (which isn't the same as Ø) . And that concludes my science nerd lesson for the day .

Oh wow, lol thanks! I guess I didn't get far enough in my physics. It makes sense though that it means diameter haha. I remember there was a difference between striking all the way through the O, and only going edge to edge, but I never learned what it was. I guess this is it. Thanks!
