Come join the evil fun as two modern-day vampire princes battle for control of the realm. Assisted by loyal vampiric subjects, and their minions, each side will compete for enhanced abilities and powerful relics as the Council of Elders looks on and observes. Various clans will also compete against each other for abilities and items that may help their prince achieve victory.
The theme is inspired by the
“Vampire Wars” online roleplaying game for Facebook and MySpace so, if you’re online, you may want to give it a try and familiarize yourself with it so you will have the “inside scoop.” It’s FREE!
At the event you will be able to
spin Mandy’s wheel or
open chests and scrolls from Akem Manah for bonuses, as well as going on
quests for “The Collector” (not sure why he looks like Obama) to gain valuable items and bonuses.
We will also need a limited number of people to play NPC roles. Some will include on-field activities and maybe even some fighting, while some will simply all be off-field. Either way all NPCs will be able to take part in the Final Battle as basic infantry. If this interests you contact me directly at
viper@viperpaintball.com
We will also need two commanders. If you are a past commander, or wish to give commanding a try, contact me about that as well. :?
Sherwood Forest is one of Indiana's oldest and most famous paintball fields. Sherwood Forest has over 80 acres to play on and boasts the largest castle in the Midwest. If you are a first time player or an experienced veteran you will find Sherwood's fields the best around.
The staging area features a huge, rustic pavilion, a rec center, and bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers!
There are no pallets, plywood, or other scraps on the field. The rolling hills are covered with lots of large hardwood trees, and bunkers are everywhere. Some are large sections of tree trunks used like hyperball tubes. The rest of the field improvements have been constructed of huge railroad ties. Enormous, two-story octagon towers, a cathedral, two small castles for each side's HQ, and many smaller buildings, houses, and bunkers are scattered throughout the field. Illuminated at night by dozens of tiki torches placed on major objectives and trails, the entire playing area takes on a spooky, medieval feel you will find nowhere else!
