I just got accepted (Regular decision, didn't know I'd hear back this early) and as of now it's definitely one of my top two schools. Is there still a Drexel paintball team? I looked around but I haven't found any new content since 2010ish.
We're still looking to get re-recognized by the school, but we do do our best get get out and play when we can. Your best bet is to contact Nick Halas on Facebook. He is currently the one in charge of coordinating everything.
Awesome! It's good to know that there are people interested in getting it started again. I have another question you can probably answer, what's the policy with having your marker on campus?
Absolutely not allowed. That is one of the main reasons we can't get our recognition back. Granted you can store it at someone's house who lives off campus, but they are not allowed in the dorms.
Have you guys contacted head of student housing? When I was at wvu I had the same issue, but my RA would keep my stuff in her room. It wasn't that bad, if y'all could keep me informed on your status I'm transferring to a school in the greater Philly area and would love to play ncpa again.

Hey guys, been following you a while now, next time u head out shoot me a PM, I live over by 7th and south. I play for United and we are always looking for a good scrimmage team. Maybe we can set something up.
Drexel University's Paintball Club is back up and running for 2013!
We already took 1st at North-East Intercollegiate Conference (NEIC) event #4 at the Playground,
and will be competing in the Shooters Paintball Series (MAPL feeder) and more NCPA Class AA events.
For a brand new team with only 3 guys who have real tournament experience, we're doing pretty good.
We only have 2 guys left from the original NCPA Champions team in 2010. We'll be practicing at the Playground in NJ as often as we can.
However we are completely lacking of school funding or even club recognition, so we could use some help with fundraising, support, and sponsors.
