We had smoked turkey, regular turkey, and ham. Also, I tried some oyster stuffing.
Ham sounds soooo good. Smoked turkey is amazing. We usually fry our turkey but I roasted it this year after some success with the Thanksgiving Feast turkey I made last Friday (for our college house, college neighbors, and extended friends).
Thanksgiving dinner at home was a bit disappointing this year in terms of scale. Not all the family was there, so less food was made. Regardless, I'm happy I got family time and some real food (college food = blah)
At the Thanksgiving Feast I had last Friday, we had a roasted turkey, grilled turkey, a very large Honey Baked ham, lots of sides, and an abundance of assorted pies, etc. Ridiculous feast. I made the same turkey I made today. That thing is ridiculously juicy. The brine really nails it
