I have never shot Vein or Elixir. Have used Premium, Formula 13 and Toxic before. The last few times I shot Premium I haven't been impressed. Lots of dimpled/misshaped balls and lots of bounces. Never had a problem with Formula 13. It's been 2 years since I shot Toxic, but it shot straight and broke on target. I have heard good things about Vein. I would have to vote for: Formula 13, Toxic or Vein.
However, the tournaments I like the best are the ones where there is only 1 type of paint sold. That way everyone is shooting the same paint, and nobody has an advantage if one type of paint is shooting great and another paint sucks. So my overall vote would be for having only 1 type of paint at the tourney.

That is a very good point and I think we will take that approach.
Thank you for the insight.

The registration deadline is Sept 3rd (1 week away).
Looks like Bad Medicine will be entering 2 teams. Any other teams planning on entering? What about Faction, the Unit, Animosity?
The base has a great field. If you don't play in this tourney you will really be missing out on a great experience.

Registration deadline is in fact THIS Friday!
Call your people and tell them to sign up.
Prizes will be awarded but the quality of prizes is determined by the amount of teams signed up.
PM me with your email address and I will shoot you the 3v3 registration form.

That sucks. I was really looking forward to playing at the AFB again. It's a really nice field. This makes 4 tourneys cancelled this month - Breakpoint rookie 8/28 tourney, Inferno pump 8/28 tourney, Rexberg 9/4 tourney, and this one. I guess tournament paintball really is dying.

I don't know if the format is necessarily dying, but when there are 4 tournaments scheduled within 3 weeks of each other, 2 major west-coast scenario events in that same span, and a WCPPL event rapidly approaching... It ends up pulling a lot of players and teams in different directions who are unable to afford the entire gambit, and sadly everyone suffers poor attendance as a whole.
Sorry to hear the bad news 366, from all the buzz it was shaping up to be one of the more popular events of the season. Hopefully this won't be the last, and we can all make the next one when it's rescheduled.
