So i had a player come up to me and ask me what was wrong with his luxe. His pressure was way too high and was leaking out of the frame and his oring that sealed the gas through from the frame to body was unseated. So i reset the oring, greased it up and turned down his pressure. Problem solved, so i thought. About 15 mins later he comes back to me with the same problem. So i instructed him to take his reg apart and clean it, in which he did and found lots of sand and sediment inside the reg. problem solved again....not. it then proceeded to seal, and start leaking another 2 times.

What could cause this oring to keep becoming unseated? i didnt get a chance to look at his board settings so don't know exactly what his dwell, fsdo was set at exactly. he bought the gun used so god knows what the previous owner put the gun through.

Any thoughts?

Had him rebuild it at the field.

What would cause the o ring inbetween the frame, and the body; that seals the gas through to keep coming unseated?

That's what i was thinking. Cause i know with the victorys if you're not using a low pressure tank you have the break basically the same oring in for it to start handling the higher pressures

but since luxes are neither high or low pressure guns that wouldn't make sense. I think he just has the wrong oring in there. he's gonna bring it by my store and i'll have time to take a closer look at it.

I would also replace all his regs orings, inside and out. If it had sand in it, I am sure those orings are trash.
