Getting an SS-25's AT off the grip frame

Is there a trick to this I am unaware of?

Make sure the undertravel screw is backed out enough to let the AT cam slide out. It's located beneath & just behind the trigger in the frame.

It looks like I have to completely remove the two grip frame retaining screws in order to remove the grip. Am I correct?

How will I know when the undertravel screw is out enough?

Will the grip frame just come off?

You shouldn't have to remove the frame or grips. I know with my Dye stickies its tight but I can still get an allen wrench to loosen the undertravel screw. Two to three turns should be enough to loosen the screw. Here is a link to a great manual on the SS-25. It should help out.
