made a little something yesterday.
took a 2 pound brisket, put a little flour on it, and browned off both sides in a large pot. put in tomato sauce, coke, and water to barely cover the top as the main liquids.
for seasoning i added
i then let it simmer for around 6 hours, shredded it with two forks, and put the meat back in the sauce to reduce down until it was thick for about an hour. baked a few potatoes, topped it with a heap of meat, a dollop of sour cream, and a few chives. not bad for a faux barbecue potato.
