My version of breaded pork cutlet/tonkatsu

The breading is crushed Cheezits.

If you're not a little horrified by your food, you're not really living.

had a pound of raw frozen leg of lamb i had saved from when i made lamb stew, and i had all the fixings for po' boys leftover from yesterdays lunch. made chopped lamb sandwiches.

chopped leg of lamb
cumin
cinnamon
oregano
paprika
cayenne
chili flakes
salt/pepper
garlic powder
onion powder

then fried it all in a very hot skillet then put it on a hoagie roll with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. very satisfying and quick lunch.

i also found that buying a can of biscuits, rolling them into balls, deep frying them, and rolling them in cinnamon/sugar is my new favorite quick dessert or snack. dipping them in a fruit compote or sauce is too good. i love having a deep fryer. i hate baking and measuring things so this allows me to have a fresh "pastry" treat!

Yesterday I put a 6lb pork shoulder in the crockpot. Covered it in salt, pepper, garlic, threw in a chopped onion and 2 cups of chicken stock. Let it sit all day. Then shredded it, put it on sourdough hoagies with coleslaw and an Alabama White BBQ Sauce we found online. It was damn good.

16oz Mayo
8oz Sourcream
6tbl Vinegar
6tbl Lemon juice
4tbl Sugar
1tbl Salt
1tbl Pepper

I've been making egg sangwiches for bfast everyday. 2 eggs, put swiss on top of one, cook slightly, flip one upside down on the other to make a sort of double yolk overeasy egg. Place on bagel and add ham for deliciousness.

Messing around. I've never made sushi rice before. Picture is pretty unappetizing – light in the kitchen was **** and I didn't feel like spending time editing it.

Basically nigiri/pressed sushi/onigiri hybrid with smoked salmon, very thinly sliced meyer lemon with toasted sesame oil roasted over fennel fronds, scallion, and toasted black sesame.

Slaw of vegetables quick pickled in lemon juice, rice vinegar, soy sauce, star anise, and crushed red pepper.

Was actually fairly impressed with how it turned out...rice was closer to what I had in japan than what I've had at most cheap-moderately priced sushi joints here. Flavors were good. Would have been better with a more normal nigiri-sized ball of rice.

This thread is depressing. I usually make chicken breast brown rice and frozen vegetables.

Been on a health kick these past couple months, this has been my breakfast everyday.

3 Egg whites (+ketchup & hotsauce), cut up apple (was gonna have a banana but it was the last day for that apple), + 2 Tablespoons of PB2 (PB2 has the same consistency as full fat peanut butter with all of the natural roasted peanut flavor, but with nearly 85% less fat calories), + iced coffee and cup of OJ.

I love winter break. gives me so much time to cook and do stuff i regularly dont have time to do during the year.

Salsa-
roasted tomatoes, onions, serrano peppers, and a head of garlic in a very hot oven at 425 for 30-45 minutes. i then put it all in a blender with lime juice, cilantro, salt and pepper and blended until very smooth. so much better than the jarred **** you buy and so easy.

roasted pork loin-
im marinating a 2 pound boneless pork loin roast in chopped chipotles and adobo sauce, tomato sauce, coca cola, brown sugar, splash of vinegar, cayenne, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. ill let it sit for roughly 4-5 hours then roast it at a relatively low temperature(275-300) for an hour and a half or so.

tacos ill be constructing-
shred the pork loin i mentioned above with two forks and place a scoop on top of two corn tortillas. top with shredded lettuce, the salsa i made, and a little crema.

i only wish i could make fresh margaritas or drink mexican beer with it, but i have to take a final tomorrow morning for my winter minimester i decided to take.

Like I said, last day on that apple, didn't want to throw it away
Egg Whites are cooked to perfection, I like them nice and firm.
"Fake" peanut butter is made from natural oil free crushed peanuts, just a lot healthier. Tastes and has the consistency of the fatty ****. I am eating for health. I could say your meal looks like ****, something an elitist douchebag like yourself would eat.
