Cooking with Khanhfucious: A Steak & Cheese Pictorial

Ingredients:
1 16oz Steak
1/2 Green Bell Pepper
1/2 Sweet Onion
8oz White Mushrooms
Salt & Pepper
Rolls
Cheeseee


1. Wash your ingredients

2. Chop the onion, slice the mushrooms, chop (is that the term?) the peppers, slice the steak.

3. Toss with Salt & Pepper

4. Pile it on in the middle of a big piece of Alu foil (Shiny side up!)

5. Make it into a packet. Use more foil. (I usually do this with restaurant width foil.) Try to make it so that the juices will stay in. And try to make it as flat as possible.

6. Plop it on your electric griddle set to ~180*. (I devised this recipe while working for a supermarket where we had all the ingredients but no way to cook it..we had 160* hot plates on the food wrapping machines so we used those..) Alternatively, you can put it on a frying pan over Medium-Low heat, or on the grill over a low flame. Im tempted to try to put this on the intake manifold on my car at the beginning of a road trip..I have a feeling it'd work.

7. Come back in 1hr 15min to this

8. Toast your rolls, yo.

9. Split the roll and add cheeseeee. (The cheese I have sucks. )

Anyway, you made it better. I've never thought about cooking one on a griddle, so I must try this.

isnt tin foil in a microwave not a good idea?

And you can add a squirt of italian on the sub too.

We did that in camp YEARS ago. Mix steak and tons of veggies, put in foil and sit over the campfire. It was SOOOOO good, I might want some now
