Anyone else's Omen stink while shooting?

Went out today and played with my Omen, and I realized that it really stinks when I shoot it. Like propane or some chemical smell. I used the same DOW33on it that I've used with other guns, and my Mag and Pump didnt stink today as I shot them.

I'm not worried about it, I just wanted to know if anyone else had a similar scent.

What kind of propellant are you using? CO2 and HPA can often have containments in them. More so CO2 then HPA, HPA tends to be cleaner. If your using old or low quality CO2 then don't be surprised if it smells a bit off. Usually paintball tanks and 12grams are filled with food quality CO2 which is fairly pure but low industrial grade CO2 is just terrible.

Shouldn't be using co2 on the omen. It probably will still work. The manufacture recommends hpa.

The smell is most likely from the air in the tank. If it is not Nitrogen filled and is in fact HPA, there could be something wrong with the system at your field.

Other than that, maybe an angry girlfriend farted in your gun...

lol This thread is still here?

Well it must've been the field's system, because it doesn't stink when I shot it in my backyard.
