Just got back from Classic.

He is totally open to the idea of having a pump event day at Classic Paintball.

Not sure about tournament since it takes away a field from walk on play.

i sure all of us would be willing to work around the walk on play for a tourney -- but i think a pump EVENT is the right step first.

I emailed the address on the website asking him details about the event.

Should we do this on September 18th? It happens to be the date of a CFOA 3man. I don't think it will interfere to much causing our attendee numbers down.

What you guys think?

Yeah I meant to reply to that. Well needless to say I haven't actually held a paintball marker since April 4th 2009 when I guested in a GFOA. So I am going to be RUSTY AS HELL!

Pump meet? At Classic Paintball in Lithia Springs, GA.

They have 2 airball fields, one spool and a town. The town is pretty BA. Good nice 4500 psi fills, nice little proshop and a GREAT parking.

for the eastern event? check the dates. last saturday of january 2011 is the first event scheduled. makes sense to do it at the end of the month.

give me name, and address of the field, and if you please can send me a contact number that would be great just so i can double check with them.

My suggestion would be on a Saturday. There is a larger number of first timers and people who are interested in pump play. Sunday is usually team practice so it may not be an optimal day.

Also they have a new check v2 mini pump sniper for sale. It is un-drillled black to blue fade orracle with the dual guide rod for $350 (maybe 359).

Let's set and date and do this.

One of the fields could be on target.in macon they have a couple nice speedball fields and lots of hotels in and around macon and warner robins areas

I run a field & the publicity would be enough for me.

I would gladly host & do whatever I could to make it great.

I can probably get 3 or 4 teams just from my field, in south carolina. We would all love to have an event down here. If u are interested I can give u there number, they would probably say yes to holding an event.

how would you guys feel about allowing pistolers in this competition too? But make it only one pistol player per team if we do allow pistols.

Pistols would include any .68 caliber pistol, can use either 12 grams or any other type of air source (say you have a remote line hooked to HPA)

Not trying to be a pump "snob" but if this is a pump league, keep it to pump markers only. People will complain about A/T, electro hoppers, etc. so there's no need to give them something else to complain about. IMO, leave out pistols.
