My power tubes tip is dented not sure how this happened. Wasn't like this before today. After I opened up my gun I noticed the tip bent. I figure it could have been cause by continuous use and maybe the bolt and breech aren't alig nex right or something but l I know is this is prolly the cause of my efficiency issues because I believe I hear a small leak from the breech of the gun.

Clone GT Problems

So I picked up a GT this past week and took it to my tournament to find it not working properly. I have posted a link to a YouTube video of what's going on. The video is showing that during the middle of a pod there is major "drop off" if you could call it that, after it shot through the first part of the pod fine.

O Rings look good
Fresh 4500 Fill
New Quality Battery
Properly lubed
Good Paint

Dwell @12 ms
Anti-Bolt Stick @4ms

I would guess that it is a pressure issue but I have no idea where to start.

Thanks

Assuming that you just have a bad screen, you would just need to purchase a new one. If you're running the 1.0 software code you would need to reflash to 2.0 in order for the screen to work, or perform the procedure listed on this page to get a type B screen to work with the older 1.0 software.

Looks as it was dropped. Their is nothing in the drive that could bend the tip of the power tube like that.

Are you lubing correctly ? Dose the problem go away when you freshly lube the drive?
Have you tried a new 9Volt?
Have you tried a different tank reg?

Try these and let me know.

It definitely wasn't dropped. It happened between usages and maintenance s. I believe that something is out of alignment and the inside of the bolt is tapping the tip each cycle. I was able to re create what I believed to be happening by hand cycling the bolt slightly pushing it to a certain direction during the cycle.

I'll get pics up later but it looks like something flat-ish repeatedly tapped it like a hammer.

Hi, I was having a bit of trouble with my Macdev DX Drone. When I screw the tank in and completely tighten the ASA cap, I get a small constant leak from the tip of the ASA where it connects to the hose.
This gun has been sitting in my closet for awhile, so I cleaned and relubed the drivetrain, but other than that, I haven't tried anything else.
Any idea on how to stop the leak?

Take the Macro hose off and flip it around. Verify is not the hose creating the leak.
Next pull the core out of the ASA where you thread the tank in . Pull that xore out and lube the two orings on the core. This should solve your problems.

anything else I can do?
the leak is specifically coming from the macroline fitting where the metal fitting meets the ASA Cap. It's only leaking there, because when I cover the area with my fingers it stops.

you can unscrew the fitting and reseal it using teflon tape. also inside of the fitting if you can take a screw driver (flat tipped) and pry out the internal collet of the fitting there is an o ring inside. you can relube or replace it

Hey James and MacDev Support,

Can you please advise on the below issue? I purchased this bolt a while back and it didn't work. Seeing how I have started a new job and relocated I didn't have time to follow up. The bolt has been sitting in the original packaging it came in. I would really like for the bolt to provide the improved performance I have heard so much about.

I have a V1 clone with V1 bolt, 200+ cases through it... maybe the gun has to much wear to use a gold bolt? perhaps I got a bad bolt?

Any thoughts?

When you slide the bolt by hand over the powertube, does it feel abnormally tight? You said it's tighter, but I'm curious how tight. I know it's not the easiest thing to just explain, but you shouldn't have to use anything remotely close to what I would consider "force" when doing this. How about sliding it through the bolt keg? Tight there too or does that feel normal?

I suppose there's always the possibility that there was a machining error. If it feels crazy tight sliding it through the keg or over the powertube then something is definitely amiss.

Your best bet is to sell it online to someone. You will pay more to ship back plush the shipping you spent when you bought the part.

So your asking me to sell a part that I purchased directly from MacDev that I suspect is defective? This doesn't sound like a reasonable response.
