People are less likely to back out and you don't get shorted (completely). The prob is that you saved that spot for them and it may have cost you another team for holding their spot. It also helps you find teams that are serious. If I've dealt with them in the past I don't always require the deposit, but it's good practices for any photographic services.

Coo. Can't wait to meet both of you. PBNation "meet ups" are always awkward at first. It's hard to pull lol cat photos in person or to quote what you said in "real life". After the awkwardness wears off usually we all get along famously!

That's how it was in Phoenix, and I think what they tried to implement last year at Cup (isn't that why you paid for your pass, Luke?). It sucks when it happens to people you know, but to be honest, I think that's how it should be. I've never really been much of a supporter of the pro pass idea, simply because I've seen some people who shouldn't have a pass at all, get one through a pro team.

Last year I think. I'm not big on shooting the pro field on Sunday. I just liked being able to hop on the field on Saturday to get some pictures of pro teams I've never been able to shoot.

I understand, and I agree. I was approved for my pass for Phoenix and didn't have a pro pass. However Grayson asked me if I was going to Chicago and that I could have a pass that X-Factor gets.

Do people who get pro passes still have to be approved by Gary?

Edit: I was thinking they were making this the rule for all 3 days. If this is the rule for Sunday I already knew that.

No, Camille is only issuing passes due to the fact the pro teams were complaining about a lot of photographers.

In turn Camille is only issusing pro passe like phoenix, were pro media (gary, dan, myself, eric chateau, etc) to those who warrant them.
