As the title states, what was the first album you got (or at least that you can remember)?
That was the first album I ever purchased on my own. I think I was in sixth grade. Paid for it with my paper route money, lol.
The first album I ever got was a gift from my mom and dad. They gave me it with a portable CD player (which skipped a ton, but it was tight stuff back in the early '90's).
I absolutely loved this song (mind you this is 1994, alright?):
My second CD I ever got was also a gift from my parents. It was that one Seal album with that "Kissed from a Rose" or whatever song that was in that Batman movie. Lol. I miss my childhood

Billy Joel - Glass Houses. After whining about wanting a Billy Joel album, I was around 8 or 9, my parents picked it up for me at the PX. And it was the wrong album! I recall I liked one particular song of his best at that time and that song wasn't on it. I was cheated!
