How about u just mount one of those ninja13/3000 hpa tanks inside the stock and have the fill nipple sticking out the side. It never has to be hydroed becuase its so small and it would stay out of the way and hpa is better than co2

I'll have to take a look at that option and see if it would fit....

I didn't realize they were under 2" dia. That makes them a lot more appealing for a 'project' of mine.

Yeah, it's easy to not notice that some air cylinders are under 2" because most CO2 cylinders are just over and have to be hydroed. (which is so that the manufacture can make more money selling a new cylinder than having the customer pay for hydroing an old cylinder)

And I'm curious about this "Project" you speak of.

In good time. This is Damon's thread, so I won't post images of anything I'm working on, but maybe I'll make a thread mid-December. Let's just say it would be in direct competition to this, the main difference is this is real and mine is on my hard drive. Still tweaking, but have the basic idea pretty well covered.

Maybe I can find some time to change the model up so people could see what parts are mine, and what parts are common parts. It's not that I don't want to share, but from the outside, you can pretty much see how the detent system works. I just want to say I thought of it first but I guess I can do that with a model just as well as a real part.

If I can, I'll post something up in the custom CAD thread and link in here to my specific post.
