Why would you go to a cartridge instead of a cylinder? It seems to me that a cylinder has more flexibility for rounds, and you can pack different rounds in each cylinder.

you can do the same with the magazine. with the cylinder, it takes a long time to load the rounds instead of just popping in a mag in... that was my reasoning

I like the cylinder just because you can have the valve open directly behind the ball (like in a Nova) without the ball stack bumping issues found in the reciprocating barrel or trap door systems.

My new magazine design should work just as good if not better than my cylinder. But, if enough still want the cylinder type, I can always offer a cylinder conversion kit. Not a big deal... Still waiting to have the prototype of the mag made..

I suppose it would make sense if we knew what the mag would look like. I think pretty much everyone knows how a revolver works though...

I might have just come late to the party, but how many rounds will your mag hold?

Finally got the scope I wanted and just integrated second regulator that increase air efficiency by 50%. And I re-designed the barrel receiver so now it has an internal o-ring to give an airtight seal. I'll be getting my Sniper Rnds in about a week. I'll then do a video of accuracy with both the First Strike and Sniper Rnds. Different distances and probably at 280fps and 320fps. Snipers class allows 320fps at some fields...

folding stock and shrouded barrel

Loading port in the cylinder

the business end....

First Strike left, Sniper Rnd right

WoW!

That thing is MASSIVE. For some reason I didn't grasp the size from the first pics.

What kind of efficiency/consistency are you seeing at 290fps?

Yeah, its a really long barrel. Actually its an 16" hammerhead with a special custom shroud to make it 22". and of course the cylinder and special sound surpressing firing system takes up a decent mount of room...

at 320fps I'm getting 250 shots out of my 3.5 oz CO2 tank. I haven't been able to empty my 45/68 tank to see how many shots total I get out of it....

Ya the barrel too, but the body is what I was commenting on. It looks like two and a half Novas bolted together. Is that a regulator on the stock?

What does it weigh?

Oh, yeah, the body is pretty long. I needed the length for the large size of the pressure chambers. Yeah, the reg is located on the stock. this is the prototype, proof of concept. the final one will have the tank and reg in a different location. and the secondary reg is inside the grip.

Hmm, not sure the weight....but probably around 7 lbs with barrel and tank.

I notice you advance the cylinder by hand yet in the description it says automatic cylinder rotation. Were you able to get that system working?

Did you use a Nova body for the back half? Is the valve system anything like the nova? It has a similar ring.

Yeah, my advance system blow its main oring seal on that day. So I removed it and had to advance manually. I was bummed, but am currently re-designing the advance to be more robust.... Guess that's all part of the development process... Plus I'm working in a magazine version that will replace the cylinder version. The mag will be quickly replacable and semi-auto.

That thing is awesome. Crazy quiet too. I'm working on a "sniper" project of my own right now and have figured out about 90% of the magazine functionality.
