I actually run a very very very light coating of slick honey on my rammer. It seems to work better than oil for some reason(way smoother). Basically only enough to give the rammer a moist look. You don't want excess grease getting into your noid so you have to be careful. Oil always works well if you're inexperienced. On the regs vaseline will works great but if you happen to have gallons of some other grease I don't see a problem with it. Just remember, more isn't better. People usually use too much grease which causes more problems then not using enough.
