Thank You, PSP!
I have yet to see anyone mention the new pit scoreboards and "easy buttons" which were introduced at this event. THANK YOU!!! They made things in the pits so much easier for all of us.
Also, thanks to the PSP Staff for doing their best in a really bad situation. And props to the reffing crew for toiling in the mud for hours on end, day in and day out.

Yeah it was muddy as heck, yeah it was ****ty fields. But it was fun in the mud, awesome competition, and the fields would have been INSANELY terrible if PSP Staff did not do the awesome job that they did. Huge thumbs up to PSP Crew, and any and all people that assisted in the clean up and maintenance of the fields, and surrounding area. Thanks for a great event back at home.
By the way, reff's were... Meh.

i never had bad reffing on a national level uintil Chicago PSP.
Field 3 was horrible. The head ref on that field just didn't give two ****s.
When a pro ref yells at the refs on the field for doing a piss poor job and there response is he doesnt know what the hell hes talking about and who the hell does he think he is yeah thats a problem.
the reffing staff on field 3 should never be put together and the head ref should never be allowed to run a field ever.

I played on Field 6 and Field 3, and although some calls were missed, I'd still call the reffing solid.
When you take into account that refs couldn't just FLY across the field like they're used to as they were wading through many inches of mud in many locations, I'll take that solid reffing and call it damn good given the conditions.

yeah i took that into consideration.
reffing isnt easy i have done it before to being psp and nppl certified.
im saying from a players point of view and a refs point of view that field was bad.
i actually herd field 6 was quite good.

there is another thread ragging on the event, go complain there. this is for people who see the bigger picture and appreciate what the PSP was able to pull off.

its not complaining its my opinion and stating of things that went on to support my opinion.
i have actually now engaged in conversation with the head ref of that field through pm's.
not once did i say i was not appreciative of what the psp was able to do b/c honestly this **** was insane. i mean like two tornadoes or w/e the hell the midwest gets on wednesday ( i was told some teams witnesses funnels forming ) flights being delayed, games getting pushed back i mean it was hectic but it was pulled off to the best of its abilities and for that i commend the psp. in fact playing in the mud i wont lie was fun as hell atleast for me i wish it rained while we played i love playing in the rain makes teams play harder imo since they have more factors to overcome.

not gonna lie, the reffing far exceeded my expectations for ANY event on both field i played on (2 & 5) as far as i saw big thumbs up to tim for putting together a great reffing staff .
and also, the efforts to cope with the harsh conditions are greatly appreciated
and of course, the new clocks were great .

how are you not complaining? some of us are applauding what they were able to pull off in a bad situation. but i guess its easier for you to get attention in a thread that does not have much going on in it.

Field 3 was the only one I had much of a chance to watch and I didn't see any issues with the officiating.

Played some good paintball.
Had a ton of fun playing it, with some old friends
Meeting up with the friends who you only see at event
Making memories i can tell my kids when im older
Bad weather or good weather, i applaud Lane and the PSP for doing the best they can with what they had.
Oh yea, those new scoreboards are extra dope.
