My friend has a Spyder Electra 09 with eyes. I have a Smart Parts Vibe.

If you want a marker that looks nice I would go for the Spyder Electra, it is really cool looking and it has a screen on the back and all. Performance wise it's as good as Vibe.

Why would I recommend a Vibe then? Spyders have a habit of breaking down and eating resale value. The Vibe you should be able to resell used for about what? $50 less than original price? I think so. The Vibe won't break down on you, it's cheaper, it's great for someone new to the game, and it's pretty darn easy to maintain.

That sounds like a good setup, just remember if your going to be playing in serious tournaments you'll want to get the blackheart for the Vibe (just a recommendation it's still a great gun as it is)

For the mask I'm just gonna toss this in but Proto, Empire and Dye make some great masks.

Tight huh? Hmmm well honestly from my point of view as long as the mask fits on your head it's a ok mask. Make sure you just buy masks with thermal or anti fog lenses, that's what counts (mostly).

thanks i went out and got a invert halo too hopper, vibe, 4500psitank (biggest my store had) some kind of mask with thick foam and thermal lenses

and i got sick so i cant do paintball for 6-8 weeks

Mask is the most important thing in paintball. If you can see to play, you cant help your team. end of story. It needs to be comfortable so you can see, hear, talk, yell, sing, etc. in it. You need to be able to wear it for hours on end.

Looks like youve got a good setup though.

i havent checked up on pbnation in a while but the sp vibe i bought didnt come with auto so i asked my local store to swap out the boards and i dont know what they did but it doesnt have any mode except semi and i think they jacked up the cap cause i think its shooting faster than 11bps
