Tiberius new mags?
Hey, i was hearing about tiberius making mags that only held paintballs, and taking out the co2 to lower the price.
Is this true, or was it just a rumour?

this way you wont need to install the closed valve on the mags to use the the tank stock on the t9.1 . I wonder if an empty 12g in there will keep air from leaking out. I hope they are plastic mags. cut down on the weight.

I'm assuming you still need to install the blocked nipple (as opposed to the 12gram nipple). An inexpensive simple plastic magazine won't have the valve necessary to hold back the pre
Also important to note. It is not a big deal to install if you already have the marker apart to oil/clean it. Takes maybe 2 minutes requires no locktite and is just as easy to swap back to the 12gram nipple. It is not a permanent change.

Well, I need to give them time to find a wrench, swap out the nipples, then sit back and awe at the simplicity.

I would think not. Its just taking the 12 gram out that all but maybe they'll surprise us and debut an official extended mag????

well since the 12g part will be wasted space now they can make them like milsig mags have the spring curve around the mag. Maybe get 12 rds in there.

Call me crazy, but I hope they don't.
1 - The existing feed system is reliable.
2 - I don't see how they could fit more first strike rounds in that same space.
3 - Many people are invested in reloading 8 rounds at a time (cut 10 round tubes, pursuit pods)
They only need to make it lighter and cheaper to compete with the TPX magazines.
Edit: Heck, now that the TPX magazines are 7 rounds they already have more shots per mag.

i was thinking the exact same thing!(wierd) but it wouldnt work for first strike rounds. and i bet they could fit like around 15 balls in there

Well, If they did a stagered stack design, then yes, they could do it like that. The only problem I foresee is that the pull down knobs aren't going to be in the right place in comparison to the marker grip.
