Official Team Germany Thread
Plan on playing for Germany this year? Go on, make a post in this thread.
I'm James "Navillus" Sullivan, Vice President of Germany for Global Conquest 2010. Along side my co-captain of RagTag Renegades Scott, President of Germany, we are looking to bring a big win to Germany this year.

if you hear....
a "yeee ha" in the woods its never a good thing for the other team (either i just took a few of your players out or im comming your way...)
a "yeee ha" on a plane is something to not even think about , just RUN (pointing a gun at me only tempts me to drop off and shoot you in the face) "its happened before and will again.
a "yeee ha" in a chopper it might be a good idea to just call your self out now. (no discription needed.......at all!!!)

Are you trying to steal his Official Team Germany Thread? =D j/k
Navillus, I'd like to talk with you more about playing with RTR because I want to get more field time and if I can play with a pretty regular group then that improves my chances.
I will be sticking with Mexico this year because of my buds ties with them but it's worth considering Germany if I'm part of a team.
Helps you're local to me =D

You still may be able to play with him if we decide create an alliance with germany. I do have to say RTR does not get a lot of field time, they get killed often due to the fact that they PUSH hard and are usually on the front lines, they do however end up killing a lot of people on the front lines so it works great for them.

I had talked to Dave, and since Scott was appointed president, I simply asked that if Scott gave his official word, would it be alright for me to be appointed VP. Dave said yes, and once Scott talked to him, it was official.

Even if you don't get a chance to run with us at global, you should still come by our tent and meet the team. There is always a chance to play with us for one of the other big games like Monster or TWC, or even on a normal weekend.

I guess that depends on the situation though really. RTR is generally known for doing major damage to the enemy's front lines. We push hard and break lines. But there are other times where we have been needed in a more defensive manner, like off the break after lunch at DotR. Our job was to run to the Somali insertion point and hold for as long as possible. Albeit with the help of medics, we held for a significant period of time and changed the tide for the Rangers.
This year at global, you will see us in all different roles. We are testing the waters in the whole idea of commanding a team. (After playing Viper Scenarios at Sherwood Forest, we couldn't resist, especially after our commander failed to mention us when FUBAR was awarded MVT. Although after the fact, he did find us and apologize.)
Regardless, Narf, you have to admit, its a hell of a time playing with (and against) us.

This year's pre-elected Presidents will be able to elect their own Vice-Presidents.

From the number of organized groups on both Germany and Mexico, I think its going to be a pretty good shoot out between the two for the win, unless there is an alliance..haha... From what i heard both Germany and Mexico are full for anyone trying to call and sign up at this point..

If Germany and Mexico work together (which is very possible considering the ties between the teams on each team) we will be a devastating force.

If that is true, you might just have to wait for other walk-ons to register for other teams.

Well, that is just what I was told, but looking at the number of teams signed up for both countries, it woldnt be a suprise if they were. I would reccomend just jumping on one of the traditional power teams such as USA, Russia or Great Britian. We 6 or so people that we know are coming that didnt pre-reg. and it sounds like they are going GB.

Germany was indeed open when I registered but the line was a mile long and Canada looked so lonely.

To all the German players who stuck around to hear the scores at the end of the game, there was an error.
Germany did in fact take second place. They shorted us 800,000 points and the correction was not made until everyone had already left.
We only lost to mexico by 180,000 points, which is a very slim margin in this game.
Guys, you were the best shooters out there. Germany kicked *** this weekend, and as far as I'm concerned we out fought everybody and won this game. Mexico didn't win by out playing us, they simply did very well in selling the gold certificates.

i dont think mexico did well at all selling the gold. i think they"glr" did very well in FINDING the gold i dont think theirs many people who come to the games as dedicated as that group of guys. for the time and money they invested to walk around the woods with their phones and gps uncoding secret codes and actually finding these things is what won us the game. it was glr that had fireman right... lol i didnt speek too much with them because we were out doing our thing and like i said before the games i believe us lil amiegos carried my oath out well... WE GAVE YA`ALL WHOOPINS.. lol thanks again for the yellow jerseys. we were so close to inserting with them... . they only thing i am a little upset about is we couldnt manage to keep no alliances for even a hour.
