I wouldn't go that far. Nebraska and Colorado probably cost them between 18-20% of their total revenue.

That's a good bit.

They'll be back. They had a strong year last year and they'll likely be a top ten team to begin 2010.

I'm not saying this is about basketball dollars at all, because it's not, but Nebraska brought a football tradition which has been waning this decade and that is it.

I haven't been wrong about a single thing yet except maybe the Nebraska move so why you all insist on saying 16 teams is going to happen is beyond me.
Eh. While I wouldn't go as far as to say that conference commissioners "don't give a **** about basketball," it's true that it's a secondary consideration because basektball just doesn't yield much money. Even the elite programs don't bring in a ton of money from basketball; it's just not worth as much so you don't expand your conference for basketball unless you want to end up like the Big East.

And I agree with Tony - the WAC is a bad example. The WAC didn't prove that 16 team conferences don't work, the WAC proved that sixteen team conferences don't work in the WAC. They just don't have the budget to pull it off because they're a non-BCS conference so trips to Hawai'i will put you in the red.

So, if all this conference expansion talk ceases, be prepared to watch Big 10/SEC MNC games for the near future.

I'm thinking the SEC runs the train on Ohio State for at least a decade.

With how deep Florida and LSU rammed their cocks up the Buckeye's ***, it will be a long time before they can walk straight, let alone on the same field as the best in the SEC.

Ohio States ranks 7th in most profitable in basketball and 8th in football. I find the football number to be a bit low, but whatever. Only team in the top 10 of both.

Ohio State had a stout run defense last year, and since most of the front line and LBs are coming back I like the chances against any HB. I am a bit worried about losing both senior safeties. Thankfully we have good run defending cornerbacks.

Nah dude. I'm more than willing to take that chance. That doesn't mean I won't be gritting my teeth, but we have a huge defensive line and solid LBs. The only thing that worries me is scat backs. Trying to run it up the gut is a mistake against us.

All I know is that Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson are going to be throwing a rape party in Glendale, Arizona on January 10, 2011 and Ohio State has an open invitation.

Pryor is going to lead his team to the line to open the game, only for Alabama to start changing defenses and disguising coverages as he comes down with BQBS and starts throwing balls to the wrong team.

Save it, brah. Saban is already asking the NCAA to turn up the difficulty setting for him.

Right now it's on "lie down and pretend to be dead and hope Alabama goes away without things going in places we don't want" mode.

You have a BB, right? Check out CrackBerry. Or, you can just do what I do and email a picture to your phone and set it as the background.
