Is it also recommended to get a new manifold or enlarge the holes on the stock one? I read that you have to drill the body to get the full effect of the mod. I was just wondering if the manifold needs more flow as well.

more flow through the manifold would help, but the manifold is not the constriction point to the solenoid. You will benifit more from drilling out the solenoid supply hole on the body than messing with the manifold.

I've got everything ready but the machined parts. The machine shop has been thouroughly packed lately and hasn't had any extra time. I know I sound like a broken record but with all the work I've put into these Kits I will definately try my best to get them out soon.

Out of interest, how does this stack up against Strange's IPR, been running that for a while and it's great. Been thinking of grabbing a clear can for my hybrid SFT so figured I may tag one of these on when they arrive, saves on postage if you send them to us Brit's.

I haven't seen the exact details of Strange's ipr mod let alone test one, but from what I gatherd his mod only reduced back flow of pressure as there was nothing for the piston to seal against.

From what I remember you're right. Basically there's no kick, softer bolt movement (I.E. you can stop the bolt by sticking your finger down the breach or feedneck and it stops nice and soft) there's also the different sound signature (most likely caused by the previous 2 things)

Ok, finnaly got some good news. Its looking like the machine shop is going to have extra time next week to get the machined parts made for the IPR kits and their release will follow very shortly after.
Also, I've been working on refining the IPR Kits and I will be getting up a new picture soon of what the finalized version of the kit will look like.

Will this mod change the sound signature of the marker? With better flow would we be able to drop operating pressure?

The IPR kits doesnt really affect the sound signiture of the marker. As for the better flow, if you do choose to drill out your body it will allow you to safely run lower pressures without shoot down issues.
Also, I've nearly completed the final prototype kit which includes a few more changes to enhance piston response time and flow. I'll try to get pictures up by this weekend.

Can't get the video to work but oh well. Just wondering how this would work with the "dead air" mod.

I just tried the video and the link still works so maby try a different computer.
The IPR mod will work with the dead air chamber mod nicely, I just prefer to leave the solenoid reservoir in tact for that extra bit air volume it gives you.

Got the video working now. Awsome job. 1 question. Wouldn't it be easier for the long body Shockers to just leave more filter than put on 3 extra magnets? I've never had my inserts out so I don't know iff they would be long enough for that. It was just a thought.
Also, will the magnets already come set to repell instead of attract?

I'll be getting up pictures here soon of the final design and that should help with questions.
