not to familiar with airsoft so much but i know they go by mm. the mm size of the piston would be 4.7625, and i think that would be closer to an actual BB than any airsoft BB

I think the standar for airsoft is a 6mm.

Regular copper/killin bb's I believe are 3mm. Would one of those work then? (Not an actual copper, like some other type of metal, I think copper would be a bad thing inside an aluminum paintball gun)

Werd.

I'm assuming they'll be metal bearings? Is it even advisable to use metal period in the noid insert tubes? I'm almost concerned that they could potentially damage the tube, but then again the ball shouldn't really be bouncing around all that much.

I know there is not much movement but I would be afraid the added mass would eventually bend/damage the filter.

The filter on mine is already kinda meh. I've read on here though that the filter doesn't need to be perfect. Like bends don't make a huge impact on anything. I'd definitely want it in one piece though to reduce the change of particles killing my noid.

i would be afraid of it bending, and making contact with the sidewall of the insert tube. thus making removing the insert extremely hazardous. a scratched insert tube means a sucky gun

the filter is attached to the end of the left solenoid insert.

i know, but when i removed the left insert tube, the filter wasn't on the insert. i don't want to try to dig for it and scratch the inside of the marker.

if anything it'll fall out if you tip the gun back. Shine a light in and see if its in there.. If it doesn't just fall out then you probably don't have one.

Pull your left insert out, gas up your marker slowly. Anything left in the insert tube will shoot out with the air pressure behind it.
