This really isn't a question on how efficient the tank is but rather the type of gun. I'm a front player so i need a tight setup to snap shoot plus it just feels better being able to play tight. However i don't want to sacrifice feel for being able to sling a whole lot more paint, should the need arise. I usually put three pods in my five pack but sometimes i run with five if i'm playing mid or back. So now i come to my question, how many shots am i expecting to get out of a:

1. Spooly(i.e. Matrix, Luxe, Ion) with a 70/45

2.Poppet(i.e. Egos) with a 70/45

3. Number 1 with a 50/45

4. Number 2 with a 50/45

5. Number 1 with a 68/45

6. Number 2 with a 68/45

All tanks stated are HP not LP (supposedly HP is better cause it's universal in that it will pressurize LP and HP markers from Angels to Egos and everything in between???? )

In advanced im sorry if this goes through as a vs. thread , just wanting some clarification so i can weigh my options and pick whats best for me

Rule of thumb, a poppet is always more efficient than any spoolie. So if you go with a poppet and a 50/45, that should be good to get you through your 5 pods and your hopper. Otherwise, on a spoolie, you'd need at least a 68/45 tank to achieve the same. This is based on my experience with an Ego + Ninja 50/45 and currently, a Geo + Crossfire 68/45.

3. 4 pods + hopper. barely. You might get shootdown on the 4th pod.
4. 1100 - 1200 or so
5. 1300 ish
6. 1700

keep in mind, with my spooly (geo+) i tune and upgrade for efficiency. For my poppit (vice) i tune and upgrade for smoothness. Therefore, it is possible to get less then those #'s with a spool, and more than those #'s with the poppit.
The Vice can be tuned to get 2000+ rounds out of a 68/4500 if you wish.
