Can someone explain the vanguard logo to me?
What do the 3 box's mean

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the original concept had the words "Research, Design, Progress" in the boxes. It was then simplified to what it is now.

As much as I like the company and the people who work there, I hate the logo lol.

no boxes would be better
in my graphic design class at school a couple years ago we had to make a logo for a fake company and i made one for vanguard. I prefer it to this vanguard logo.

I admit it took a while to grow on me, but now I prefer it this way.
