Like every other transition was fantastic.

The first one was crap, the one into Contact was crap.

Just work on those a little, and I think you'll be a mashup jockey in no time.

Good to know, thank you. (I liked the first transition the most haha. The slow rise into a slowed down grime) I'm DJ'ing on the side as I try to master Reason. It's a hard game to play.

it depends on the person and genre typically. i know some people mix slow as in intro to outro mixing and letting the songs play out, while there's others like me who rarely let a song get to its second drop or even to the break.

this is how i typically mix lol, i play out individual songs too if i cant double drop them, but i usually get bored fast so i like to mix quick.

and contract, you should send me that reso track

edit- i just realized i haven't posted a track im working on in a while. here's one i started yesterday. still have to work on the vocals to get them in sync better and a couple other sloppy parts, but its been a fun track to make.

It's dope if you can do it right. Get people melting from the get go. And I'm more than glad. Follow me on soundcloud and I'll put it up as a private track. I get home from work around 2 so you'll be swimming in music in no time.

Hey DJs, or people working with production companies. I need some tips on approaching venues to put on DUB shows. We would provide the equipment and DJs. Any advice? This is in an area that is new to the whole dubstep thing.

Bring samples of the stuff that would be played, explain what you do and how you do it. Just be upfront about it.

It's not the single. I mean, it is just minus the first 25ish seconds. It was part of his "Reso In The Mix" album so he mixed it into the previous song. But it's pretty much the single.

Yea thats not the single. What software do you use to make those sets? If you are actually doing them live u dont want to be using bad tracks like that. I'm sure some of the noisia tracks u used are straight from their album too...

captain obvious to the rescue again, this was in the video info

VENT (also known as DC Breaks & Abstrakt Knights) formed in 2007 with the premise of fusing styles, genres and tempos with one common feature - basslines. I predict big things for this duo in the near future.

Make sure the venue has a Bar and make a deal with them that so much alcohol will be bought or you pay the difference for the venue. most venues that i have encountered make the majority of their money off booze. the music really doesn't matter as long as it brings in people looking to get wasted. for the first couple of nights you might need to take focus off making profit just to ensure a good night. have cheap drinks that would encourage drinking at the venue instead of pregamming really ****ing hard.
