Well I just got a great deal on a pimp and had a few questions on it. First I was lubing the lpr and noticed it does not have a valve spring. I saw on the manual they come stock with a valve spring so I was wondering if it had some kind of aftermarket valve in it. The gun shoots fine so it doesn't affect performance. Also what are my options as far as a new lpr? The respirator on it has a lot of creep and I was looking for a better option. Thanks
The valve spring is just there to keep the stem in place while it not air'd up. The positive air pressure when it's gassed keeps the valve pin sealed. Most likely the previous owner lost the spring when servicing it, and just never replaced it.
Hopefully some one else can help you with the upgrade option, idk if its evil specific or able to take general IMP or other make parts.
I think you can use a Hybrid Timmy LPR or a Palmer rock Intimidator LPR. other Intimidator lprs may fit. they may require a slight modification of the spring.
