**** Japan and everyone in it. The game will suck.
The game is being made by Eidos Montreal. You really need to pull the stick out of your ***.

Looks like it would make a better movie than game.
Deus Ex 3 confirmed for PS3?
[edit]
Copied and pasted from /v/
Quote:
-Primarily a stealth game, trying not to be primarily a shooter
-line of sight stealth mechanics. Reported to "not make a mockery of the AI" like many stealth games
-Reported that 3-4 bullets until you do die
-25 years before Deus Ex 1 before mechanical augmentation became obsolete
-Special skills you use take up energy "pips" that do not regenerate. These arm blades are part of that. Medpack-like system for restoring it.
-Cover system (probably takes you into third person)
-Instead of invisible augmentations like Deus Ex 1, all augmentations will take a part of your body and be visibly replaced to show you have that augmentation. Once you unlock that augmentation you spend experience points to unlock 4-5 other abilities that augmentation has to add an RPG element.
-Advertises AJ (Adam Jensen, your character) as a Clint Eastwood with robot arms.
-Social elements are there in full and said to be INCREDIBLY branched out.
-Structures conversations from casual discussions to "verbal fights"
-Layered city shown in trailer is basically a new, more advanced city built on top of slums.
-Sprawling environments like Deus Ex 1
-You can talk to every single person in the game. There are conversations for each person to, not just one line responses.
-AJ is a security guard that got his arms blown off by augmented *******s, not an agent of some sort.
-Hacking is there and is a risk of both being spotted and screwing up and having the registry trace the hacking back to you
-Author says that the developers have preserved the openness of Deus Ex1
-Control of in-game objects. Crates can be moved and used as cover, throw so hard it kills guys, etc.
-To add to the stealth element you can pick up living or dead bodies to hide them. Guards who awaken after being knocked out will hunt after you
If this is true, there might just be hope after all.

Holy **** that gave me chills. I like how the game's plot is relevant to modern conspiracy theories and ideas.

If you can handle the first games graphics, assuming you haven't played it already, give it a try.
It's all about Conspiracies like the Majestic 12, Illuminati, Men in Black, Knights Templar, a bunch of different terrorist groups, Hong Kong Triads, governments manufacturing viruses and then selling the vaccine for profit and letting the poor die, and a bunch of other crazy ****.
I fear if this game is a success it will the next Fallout 3, in that people ignore it's predecessor(s) despite being equally as good if not better (ignore Invisible War though, that game was ****).
I remain still skeptical though, Invisible War left such a bitter taste in my mouth, I won't fall for any hype, I'll believe Eidos can make a good Deus Ex game without Warren Spector when I see it.

Just kidding. Sounds cool though. I don't know where the hell /v/ got that information (I don't even think /v/ knows) but I hope it's all true.
It has all apparently been said by dudes who work at Eidos in interviews and has been published in magazines and whatnot, though I can't confirm if this is true or not.
I'm gonna have to dig out my copy and get that **** running.
and maybe it's a good thing Spector is gone, wasn't he also responsible for Invisible War?
from wiki
"Every enemy squad will have an identifiable squad leader who will direct the team's actions. If the leader is killed, the squad falls into disarray. Enemies will also react to subtle player decisions, such as a change in behaviour or weapons, etc"
NICE

I have a friend who is always talking about how excited he is about FO 2, and how awesome it looks. Seriously, the game was titled Fallout 3.
Trailer looked amazing though, Well have to see how the reviews pan out before I buy it.

He was the lead guy in the first game, and he was the one who spent the countless hours working on the conspiracy theory aspects and plot twists and whatnot. Harvey Smith was the guy making all the decisions on the 2nd game, Warren was just the guy who founded Ion Storm Austin, but he had very little, if anything to do with Invisible War.
