Oooooh, I like this. Please pm price as well.
I'd also like to make a product name suggestion: the Voyeur.
The marketing campain would be so easy: The Voyeur, because window watching has never been so fun!
Or you could get it packaged with a set of hybrid lady grips: The peeping tom pack. Watch your bolt stroking rapidly as you launch the paint from your balls all over your target! See all the action as our beautiful women finger themselves while riding your shocker!
IDK, just my opinion. Guess that's what a year in afghanistan does to an already-dirty mind!
Edit: Just read the rule about not having pm's till after your 5th post, so I guess I am gonna have to find something to discuss somewhere, lol. And no, I'm not gonna add this as a seperate post to up my count But the clear can does sound awesome (and look awesome based on the example! and I'm looking forward to getting one!

pm'd those with interest.
As a note to those concerned with the saftey of these cans, I will be testing an unsupported clear can(larger window than physically possible on a shocker) up to its bursting pressure. Also will tape record the results to show that even in the worst case scenario of a complete HPR regulator failure(950+psi directly into the gun), the clear can will NOT burst/explode or be a danger to you at all.

I'm making an aluminum blank mockup body with a larger than possible shocker window that will house the clear can and will hook directly to a macro fitting. Then I will use a rod to plug the cans bore and air it up to 450psi(lp tank) and 950psi(hp tank).

I'm trying to get ahold of an adjustable tank so I can try to go as high as 950psi. Just want to show that even if the preset hp tank fluctuates up as well as the hpr failing the clear can will still be completely safe.

burst disks are pressure saftey measures for the tank so plugging one up would only make the tank unsafe to fill and use, it wouldn't change what the tanks output pressure is.

your right, my brain went south for the winter.
Side story, you can simply change the burst disks in a tank regulator and use co2 Ima try doing that with a 3.5 oz. regulator set at 650 for co2 would be if not dual regulating.

Varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and can even vary significantly from reg to reg from the same mfr.

put the pressure release in guage hole...
It will be fine, im sure hte noid would leak before pressure high enough to pop the can is reached.

Any way you could make a bolt sleeve outta this stuff? I know there were some delerin bolt sleeves but I have heard that their were some of them that had tolerance issues due to the fact that delerin has some "give" to it and can't be machined as precisely as aluminum. It would be kinda cool even iff you couldn't see it, just to take a little more weight off of it. Also, is the can going to be set up with the HE design or the old stock design? I have already ordered my eigenbolt and it doesn't use the HE. So I was thinking iff a person had the old stock can without the extra metal right there at the HE part of the can, there would be more room for air in the can. More room = more volume and more volume = lower opperating pressures.

I've had a couple of people ask about a clear bolt sleeves but the problem is that it wouldn't stay clear for more than 100 shots or so. There is a dynamic sealing oring where the window could be so that constant oring contact would make the sleeve too hazy to see through. Although if there are enough people that want it anyway I could make it.
The sidewalls for the clear cans are slightly beefed up for strength, so it can't have the exact same volume as the stock sft can but it will still be the same or better than a HE.(which are close anyway)
