One question, why so few air inlets on the can??? Wouldn't adding more help with flow????

The original SFT cans only had 1 inlet.

Too many holes could possibly leed to some of the previous problems listed about the material being weak. Stress fractures and such would probably be more likely iff there were more holes. As long as ther are 4-5 holes spread out evenly it should be fine.

No, more holes won't help there are plenty. There is only one inlet hole in the body feeding the can so the number of holes he has already drilled is more than redundant.

That portion of the can should be equalized on both sides in terms of pressure, so there is no real risk of stress fragments there. It's only the areas that hold pressure on one side that you need to worry about.

It would be cool to see a slow motion video of a shocker shooting with one of these cans (large windows obviously).

hmmmm........those are both pretty good ideas

So few? There are 10 air inlet holes, which is 9 more than stock. The inlet hole pattern is nearly identicle to the NDZ cans but the clear can has 10 holes instaed of NDZ's 6 holes. The flow at that point should be better than the stock can or any NDZ can.

Obviously there's difference in size of the windows and pressure used on a shocker, but I'd check into lexan before making any more.

I would like to clerify that he most likely ment acryllic when he said do not make them out of polycarbonate. lexan is a name brand polycarbonate, the same as delrin is a name brand of acetal.
Acryllic(aka plexiglass), while also clear is more brittle than polycarbonate and would explode into many pieces as he stated if it was overpressurized.(this is why I will NOT be making them out of acryllic)
I can assure you that I will use a very high quality polycarbonate(lexan) to make each can.

no, the polycarbonate I will be using doen't yellow from sunlight exposure like the early versions of it can.
here is a video of polycarbonate VS. acryllic test video to give you an idea of polycarbonates strength.

Also I will be getting back my shocktech body today or tommorow so I will have pictures of the clear can in a private label shocker body with windows.
