It is possible but not practicle. The tiny amount of volume you would gain would see a large increase in price due to additional setups needed to make the side cutouts.(The machinist I'm currently using doesn't have live tooling on his lathe) Also, only stock bodied sft's would work with the LP can so I would be severely limiting my potential customer base. Yes, the LP cans would work in closed bodies but at that point you aren't seeing the can anyway. |

My regular machinist couldn't quite do what I needed so I am looking around again. Don't hold me to a tight schedual but I'm hoping to get a few more quotes in and more figured out in less than a week.

Do these have the surface for HE? BTW I'd grab one if you can get it to the volume of a stock non-HE can. |

No HE surface. The sidewalls would be too thin (.050") if the clear can had the same volume as the stock non-HE can. |

stop by? are u located in the stl area? also does the can work with the h.e. bolt or its just not the same specs as the h.e. can?
