The only real arguement was if the gun was infact ramping or bouncing. It was bouncing not ramping. Had the gun been ramping then another penalty would have been enforced.
So then the player was suspended for the rest of the tournament and Entourage played the remaining games with 6 players?
To clarify for anyone else that has been following this thread Entourage would of only had points taken away if it was the second bouncing gun infraction of the tournament. This was the first so no points were to be deducted unless multiple players were found to have bouncing markers (which all other players were fine). XSV would not of made it into the top 4 no matter the outcome under the 2010 rules. In previous
years the points WOULD HAVE been awarded to XSV but that is not the case under current rules.
Personally I made assumptions based on the old rule book in a few other threads; ignorance is not an excuse that was my mistake, I apologize.
It's page 26 Rule 23.05 with subsection (6) being what relates to this situation if anyone wants to look it up themselves.
