Does anyone have any shooting videos with their Mini that has the Eigen bolt? I've seen this one, but I wanna see more.

Hey guys

I just got my eigenbolt in the mail today and I had 2 questions

Is there supposed to be an o-ring on the front of the bolt?

Should the oring inside the bolt be lubed up?

Sorry for not searching but im using that iPhone app that has limited search functions. Thanks for the help guys.

In regards to the spacer o-ring... a 015 oring fits perfectly and seals fine too.

Is this the way the spacer goes?
If it's the other way the oring stays in that grove at the base of the guide and I think the spacer doesn't move when firing

You got it backwards.

The spacer is locked into position and it doesn't move with the bolt.

I have two questions about the eigen bolt.
1. I have seen multiple posts about people needing to sand down different things to get the bolt to fit/work properly. Will every bolt need this? And if so, which part needs to be sanded?
2. This is in regards to question one. Is it a good idea to purchase a used eigen bolt? I'm a little wary because of the whole "sand to make it fit your marker" thing. Can't really afford to pay $30 or $35 for a new one at the moment.
Thanks.

As far as I know, the INSIDE of the spacer having machining flash on it has been the only fit related issue. I'll replace anything that has problems.

Just sand around the outter edge of the inside where the inner oring sits for 2-3 seconds at a time, all the way around until it can go down the guide. Take your orings off the spacer first. Before test fitting rinse the piece with alcohol to remove any shavings

I just got my replacement eigenbolt and techt spring kit in the mail this week. I currently have lurker's bolt paired with techt's heaviest spring from the kit (still noticeably lighter than the stock spring). I'll get air sometime this week and break everything in. I have new bolt guide orings to break in as well. I'm thinking I'll dry fire about three tanks and then I'll test with balls.

I'll update with results this weekend.

Might even throw a finger pinch test vid in for kicks.

I will be trying out the bolt this weekend.. Setting my mini at 190, 5-7ms dwell and 280 fps field limit. I have a big 71-45 dye tank so hope this will show how Eigen can handle better then stock..

Go lower with the psi. Really. At least 180, then check with the crono.

You can easily tune your mini to shoot at 160psi with stock or even lower dwell. Try 160psi-7ms, 1.5 turns of backcap.
