Anyone know what the Entourage gun penalty was over turned?

Like the title says?

You could hear the fire rate being over 20bps a mile away, we where all wondering what was up in the stands.

Anyone know why they let the 26 bps slide?

Because it was Bob Long who protested it. The NPPL doesn't want to anger Bob Long so they gave him what he wanted. Basically XSV just gets screwed out of a chance to win NPPL Chi. /Story

That marker was going off like crazy!

Same here. Oh and my gun may so happen to spike to 450 fps while i'm on the field next time i'm on the field against someone I don't like.

So your saying that XSV needs teams to get gun penaltys in order to win games? Because clearly entourage won that game with 4 or 5 bodies, I was watching from the stands.

and it was not a ramping gun it was minor bounce which at worst is a 1 game suspension.

BTW great event NPPL really enjoyed it except for the weather today it was terrible

Mechanical failure should still be a penalty. You simply can use that as an excuse.

For example, in baseball, it was mechanical failure on the part of a machine that caused a bat to be too light or have a larger barrel. Its still the fault of the player.

um.. the penalty was bcuz the trigger was too close it stuck.. same happened to us in HB. except i got penalized and my marker was taken away vs. aftermath.

remember vegas nppl when they busted all the egos for the same thing? well same situation. but the gun was proven to have a flaw. wasnt done on purpose.

and unless you were one of the refs or the Ultimate or the player in question who knows what it actually was.

How do you also know it wasn't valve stick which yes makes it shoot FULL AUTO however its at something like 100fps, so who cares. Can't hit anything until you fix the valve (at least cycle the air on and off).

A gun penalty is a gun penalty it shouldn't be overturned because of subpar equipment or manufacturer defects.... this isn't the first time Entourage has gotten away with gun penaltys, It really makes that league look bad when they do **** like that..

Well congrats, you watched the match....

It doesn't matter if they won with seven bodies alive or one. They still lost the match due to a gun technicality, or at least they should have. The NPPL was wrong to over turn that penalty and because of that it cost XSV's spot in the final four. So yes, XSV did need that to "win".

How do you know it was not a ramping gun and it was just a "minor bounce"? Why don't hop off Bob Long's nuts and stop trying to bash XSV so you can look tough.

Stop trying to be an E-thug and make it sound like you know everything....because you don't.

You were watching from the stands Mr. tough guy, I am pretty sure you didn't know what was going on behind the net between the ref's and the players. Unlike you, I spoke to the players so I actually know what happened.So if I was you I would shut the hell up before you make yourself seem like even more of a d-bag than you already are.

Tell that to Arsenal who got screwed last year in Vegas because of bounce. They won 1st place in every event and just had to make it to playoffs to take 1st for the season but the NPPL found a bouncy gun and ****ed them hard.

At least they're consistent with their calls.

I know they were checking for bouncy guns at Vegas. Didn't know anything about a bunch of Egos being busted.
