Memorial Day opinion
Since a lot of y'all are active duty or veterans I'd like to get your thoughts on Obama's decision to spend Memorial Day in Chicago for “rest and relaxation”, as he put it.
Personally I think it's a slap in the face to all those that serve or have died for this country I mean after all he is the Commander in Chief.

I care more about what he's doing for people in the military and for veterans and their family than what he tries to symbolize at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery this year and what other presidents have tried to symbolize at the Arlington National Cemetery.

I think it's a dishonor to the surviving MOH recipients that travel to Arlington every memorial day to hear their CIC speak, but I personally done give a **** about what he says and I would imagine those hero's feel better off not having an asshat that doesn't respect them bumble through a prepared speech.
Besides, hes going to the Lincoln Cemetery or something like that. As long as he makes some appearance even though I know he doesnt really care for those that have served.
