What to do
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to compose an image that you believe embodies the topic chosen. It can be a Photo-shopped image, digital design, drawing, painting, or any other art form you choose.

Rules
1. All work must be original and be done by you
2. No work will be accepted past the deadline
3. Work from all skill levels is invited, but please put effort into your design
4. No porn/inappropriate content (PbN rules still apply)
5. You may submit only ONE piece of work

What you will be judged on
1. Creativity
2. Difficulty of Design
3. Demonstration of Topic
4. Overall flow

How it works
You guys will submit your designs by the specified date via this thread. Feel free to discuss peoples designs, but try not to clutter the thread with a bunch of text posts. Depending on how many entries there are, the top images will be chosen by the judges and made into a thread with a poll. All users can then vote on which picture you think should win. Whoever is chosen as the winner will automatically have their next entry in the final thread (you still must turn it in by the deadline.) The voting will remain open for 3 full days. At the end of that time, the winner is declared.

Sorry, but as of now, the only prize is bragging rights. This competition is purely for fun and PbN has no involvement in this what-so-ever.

Since this is the first competition, it is a trial run. Having this competition in no way implies that they will continue in the same manner, if at all. We need to see how you guys handle it to see if we can continue with them. If you have suggestions, PM me please.

Yeah. I figured we could use more traffic. And what drives traffic more than proving your skills on the internet.\

edit: judges can submit entries too. They just can't vote for their own.

We had one of these before and it just was annoying because no one participated and people just hated on the other designs. Just letting you know ..

Well it can't hurt. The only things we have in here are the free photoshop and the rate the photoshop above you thread.

..Why dont we just take the 'competition' part out of it? We should have a monthly topic and everyone that wants to can post art related to that topic. Could be your own art, could be a famous artist's, could be anything.

I think we just don't have enough people browsing this forum to have a competition. You might be discouraging a lot of people from posting because they don't think their art is good enough to enter into a 'competition'. Open it up a bit more..
