new metal poppet/cup seal
So the oficial price from Vanguard on the new improved metal poppet is $35.00 plus shipping for anyone who's interested.
Benefits? Well aside from sturdy metal construction(which I love). Longer life obviously, tighter tolerances on the orings and an inovative new sealing surface which is in fact an oring! Yes an oring will seal the cup seal/valve. What's even better is it's user serviceable! Should your cup seal oring ever go bad, you can replace it for a perfect seal again.
This was created to help prevent the leakage some people get when grease from inside the valve gets on the sealing surface of the cup seal. Normally with a hard edge, this causes a leak. The new soft seal oring can bend around debris to a degree forming a better seal. I tested mine by actually putting grease on the cup seal and the leak was gone in a few shots. Good stuff!

Our markers are reaching shot counts of 12/14 pods off a 68/4500 and 8/10 pods off a 48/4500 tanks. Consistency shot to shot from a tuned marker is averaging +-2.
The new poppets completely charge the firing dynamics of the Creed!

Wow.......what settings are you using? I'm not getting near that but I am doing pretty good. 1500-1600 here. Martin told me I can run my dwell a lot lower than I am......I just haven't really played with it much. It's working so well I don't want to jinx it lol.

No you have to take your LPR off the gun.....behind that there is a spring and on the end of the spring inside the valve is the poppet. You'll probably have to push the poppet out from the rammer side with an allen key or something.
Lube the new poppet up and put it back in place of the old one. I don't suggest just dropping it down.....you could dent the valve. Just stick it on the spring, point the gun downward and insert the valve upward.
Or, you could watch the tech vids on how to remove the valve and do it that way.

Just bought a used V2.
Can you tell me please how do I find out if I have the new or old poppet? Is there a link to the video you are referring to?
Is it by serial number or I need to do a visual? If visual what am I looking for? If serial number where do i look?

Take the bolt out ans look inside where the rammer is. You will see a white tail shaft or a steal tail shaft that will
Let you know what you have.
