Geo turning off after first shot.

Hey guys. New to the geo but I just used it for the whole day at a big game on sunday.

Gun shot like it was a madman all day until the end. I put 6000 rounds through it. Towards the end of the day all of a sudden it would turn off after i pulled the trigger.

Battery was 1/2 on the board. Any body have any suggestions. Everyone at the field thought it was the weirdest thing ever!

Change the battery. Then try it.

Bolt might need a relube, battery may need changing, or tank low on air.

Bolt not lubed properly/low air wouldnt cause the board to turn off..

i know I've been able to double click the on/off button during play (somehow) and I would shoot and the trigger pull turns it off.

Basically its getting to the "turn off?" screen and your first shot is confirming the shutdown.

That's the only time i've experienced the geo turning off after the first shot.

Now if you're turning it on in the pits and then simply pulling the trigger and it turns off... well... beats me; sorry.

The only other things that may explain it were if the board were loose, or the battery a loose fit to the battery contacts, and the battery was losing contact with the board.

I will relube the bolt tonight and check the battery connections. It seems like it would be a battery or board malfunction. I dont know what could have caused it.????

Free screw can't ever be a bad thing, surely?

Bro if you feel the battery is not tight enough inside the frame to keep the board running you should check the 3 screws that keep the board in place..
This happened to a friend of mine and what I did was to loose those 3 screws, then slightly push the board down while screwing those back. That repositioned the board and tightened the space for the battery, thus preventing this from happening. It's a millimeter difference, but it may work for you

Now that I think about it, it was a board screw, and it was one that was not screwed into the board, so it wasn't a free one!

If it is indeed that the battery is alittle loose you can bend the contacts VERY VERY GENTLE, that might do the trick, but try to reposition the board first.
