Big three
So I started working out consistently about two months ago.. My diet is a lot bigger then previously and I'm seeing good weight gains. But I'm thinking of going to a more simple workout plan, bench squat and dead. Does anyone have a thread from bodybuilding.com or have any info on pro and cons of that method?

Research 5/3/1 by Jim Wendler. A good amount of people from this subforum are on it, so if you need any advice just ask. Be prepared for the truth though

Not looking like a ***** is pretty high up there.
I saw a guy today doing like 4 different variations of reverse wrist curls, its almost like a parody of a real workout.

My girlfriend would argue that there is nothing wrong with that and that everyone has different goals.
Maybe that guys goal is to be able to squeeze *** out of a rock.

I just don't get it, some people go in and do twenty different exercises, most of which will only improve their masturbation skills, or you could do three to five exercises and peace the **** out. I like going to the gym but spending hours surrounded by sweaty dudes is pretty far down on my list of things to do.

if your in the gym curling in the squat rack instead of curling your wasting your ****ing time
bench, squat and deads are the compund movements that are gonna pack on the beef...seriously if your in the gym doing weights longer than 40 minutes your jacking off

Guess I have been doing a lot of jacking off! Sucks....all I have is this 425lb bench press to show for it too...what a ****ing waste.....

it really isnt important but the idea is you can get the same results in less time....you dont need to be doing weights for and hour and a half, thats really all im saying

Actually, you do in some cases. What if someone is training two groups? What if someone has to wait for equipment? What if they were doing cardio along with it? What if they weren't feeling well and took a break? What if they had to change and shower? There's a ton of things you need to start considering and I am highly sure you are not in a place to judge how long someone takes "doing weights". ****, who calls it "doing weights" anyways?
