I sold my geo for 650 and picked up a nib laserd creed for 580. I am happy with the trade. but the geos are still great guns. try to find some one who has a creed and ask to shoot it and see what you think for your self.

Well I am not sure. I bought my creed quite some time ago, when everyone was not sure if the company was going under or not. the creed is one of the better shooting poppets I have shot. but the geo is surely lighter then the creed.

You may want to keep in mind that the geo2 is coming out soon so resale for the geo will probaby drop. If I were you I would get rid of it while I could.

I've shot both as well and while the Geo is a beautiful shooting marker I really can't describe how smooth the Creed shoots. I'm not familiar with the going rate for a avalanche Geo but nonetheless you'll be more than happy with a Creed.

The company isn't going anywhere. Blue's Crew just joined with Vanguard in a Marketing partnership. We ABUSE our equipment, we've dropped them, gotten dirt, mud and grime into the guns, put several cases though them in one sitting and they just work, set the velocity and go. Of 20+ team guns we have had 1 go down and that was because the user screwed the reg adjustment in to far and just needed to reset the reg, and that was player error not equipment.

They are A+ markers IMO and that's no lie.

Going from a spooler to a poppet is always a tough thing to advise someone on since they are so different. I will say that if you have a chance to shoot the creed first, then do so. If not at least take heart you'll be trading up to one of the smoothest shooting poppets out there. Even smoother now that I hear vanguard has an aftermarket rammer that's lighter and smoother for those who like to tinker. I have one in my creed now and it's butta!

Don't be hesitant. Creeds are very good guns. Reliable and consistent. It shoots like nothing else out there. I have put my personal marker through the paces and it has passed with flying colors! If you can shoot one, you will not be disappointed.

I went from a kitted out geo to a creed, it was a little different at first but i think the creed is a better all round marker.

He didnt say he had it, if you read, then re-read. It says he "heard" there is a new rammer in the works.

It's a hell of a marker. Had Xball practice in heavy rain, none of the Creeds we used went down during the practice. All of them shot smoothly. That's a large sample size, in extreme weather conditions.

You'll have to call vanguard for one right now.

Do the new rammers come in the v2 now? I just got mine in today. I know its got the new poppet, but does it have the new rammer as well? or has that not come out yet?

No the new rammer is aftermarket only. It's thinner and lighter and will probably require more skilled tuning that the stock rammers. Mostly for those who want and even smoother gun.

The newest metal poppets are available too.......they're pretty cool. Metal with a rubber oring to seal the valve.....AND they are user repairable should your cup seal oring die on you. You just replace the oring and go! They're also a bit more friendly should you get some grease on the sealing face while lubing your valve, which of course can cause leaks. Since the sealing face is softer...it will allow it to adapt to debris better. I actually put grease on mine purposely to test it and within a few shots all leaking had stopped. Nice little innovative design! No more trying to hunt down replacement cup seals at a bad time
