Mags and Macro

I got a box today and was super stoked to remove the braided line and put some macro line on my T1, all black, all tactical and all stealthy... i aired it up, went to go cycle it and it frggin exploded! my wife was working in her office upstairs and nearly soiled her pants, air hissing, cats running, wife yelling... thus is my first experience with an SHP reg and ****ty macro from ANS..

with that being said who runs macro (if possible) and what kind??

ANS said their macro was rated to 2250psi... obviously its not...

Ive seen enough marco blowouts that I wouldnt run anything other than braided if your using a SHP regged tank. Tank output is 1100 if I remember. Most macro is barely rated for 800. Fittings sometimes less.

I would get some shrinkwarp tubing & put if over the s/s braided to hide it.

I always look at the wall thickness, the really skimpy ones get tossed back in the parts kit for a "Regular" high pressure application.

I don't recall where I got an of mine from.

Maybe in the SLG/ION/E Cocker/DP/etc sections. I've found that, for the most part, AGD, APS, Mech Cocker sections have members of a higher maturity level. The one thing in common with all those sections is that most markers are classics. Much like owning a classic car, the owners are enthusiasts rather than jerk offs.

Thing about it is that, most of the time, you can buy a better/faster/lighter/newer marker for what you pay for an old classic. It means the guys buying them aren't doing it to own the latest thing on the field. Most of these guys never bonus ball, always speak intelligently and are of a higher class of people. At least that is my observation.

Buy it here, best stuff on the market. Look under the "Pneumatic Fitting" section

http://www.airsoldier.com/mm5/mercha...Store_Code=AOS
I've had 1.5k running through the stuff with no issues.
