i have a RC 4wd truck
that came with a 7.2c 1800mah battery.
I'm looking to up my run time
and are looking around at higher Milli amps batteries and
seeing up to 5000mah.

Is there a LIMIT to how high i should go for the battery ?
And am i correct with the thinking the HIGHER the Milli amps=longer the RUN time for the car?

correct the more cells and more mah will make it faster and run longer. Now for the cells don't go above 7 cells unless you find a lot of people saying/doing otherwise that have the same truck.

you can get 5000mah batteries. there are some higher ones but a lot of those don't last as long as the 5000. I usually run 4200's and they last pretty good. as it's the price per mah is the best really.

Tell me what type of truck and you might be able to run 8.4v 4200 mah batteries and have it run for a pretty good amount of time if they run a 380 or 5xx size motor.

Well I've only ran LiPos over the last 5 years but back when I was still using NiMhs the GP3300 cells were the most reliable with the best discharge. I bought some MaxAmp 5ks from a friend and built a battery for one of my dirt bikes. They sucked.
