I do like the idea but from all what I've seen, homemade hoppers tend to be ugly. Mainly where they mix the two loaders, however form over function any day.

Keep watching. Mine is coming out very clean. And when you're creating a custom hopper it's always function over form. It could look like hell so long as it works. Plus until someone with an injection mold machine decides to make a mini version of the Halo or Rotor homemade is the best option.

Just picked up a Jt 200 rounder $5 at Sports Authority feeds real nice, and it don't double feed like my rotor was causing. I have an APP 50 round setup on its way as well. Anyone got any new info on that R1 hopper from the cover of Greg Hastings paintball?

The R1 effectively doesn't exist. It was never even prototyped based on research from other users. Just a concept picture for the cover.

I've emailed Virtue, KEE, and Dye about making a small motorized loader. Virtue responded with a no basically, and the other two haven't responded.
