ok so Ive looked everywhere...stickies, reviews, online....and I cant seem to find the answer to a simple question....

What is the average efficiency of a Geo w/ GR-2 and GST?

I saw the geo2 is supposed to be more air efficient and Im thinking about pre-ordering one but Im a back/mid player and like to have a number of pods I can shoot in the back of my head but I can find an answer help please!!!

Just use a 68/45 and you could shoot everything you carry, 7 and a hopper or more

^ i get like 6 and a full hopper but i have the vvc all the way out and my dwell is at 14.5 with gst and gr2

Yep and it all makes sense cuz I can get about 4-5 and a hopper on a 56/45 but I have to have the VVC all the way in and dwell is at 11. My guess is that with the Geo 2 I could get 7 and a hopper out of my 56/45 (same as what a 68 would get with my regular Geo).

I can get 4 pods and a hopper from my 45/45 tank with 3000psi with gr2 and st kit. Vvc screw 8 turns out and 292 fps.

Ninja 49/4500 I get 4 pods and a hopper on a 4k fill, I can get more but the velocity drops on the 5th pod

on my 48/45 shooting at 280 its 500 per pod soo do the math

i doubt any geo 1 could get 9 pods per fill?

1500 rounds on a full 68/45. Should be 10+ pods.

I just don't get how you get this kind of efficiency.

1500 is what the Geo is meant to achieve, though admittedly, in reality this seems to be more of a maximum achievable shot count, with all things being perfect, rather than an average.

Having perfect o-ring fit; minimum dwell; perfect paint to barrel fit (the barrel itself can have an effect in terms of design - length, amount of porting, stepped or unstepped, etc.); eliminating all other sources of air wastage (find and fix any little leaks you have); getting a full fill; making sure that the back check ball in the solenoid is the correct size, smooth and clean; making sure that the can pin hole isn't too large; using light paint (which will accelerate up to speed with less air expended); making sure that your tank is filled slowly to get a cool fill rather than a hot fill, so that you don't lose press ure as the tank cools. All of those things can assist in maximising your shot count.

probably cause i have a prototype geo , but ive never done a full efficiency test will need to do this when I have enough money

That seems a little low for using a 90ci tank.
