I used to use a vest, I know some people that still do, but if you're looking for a good value check out UTG. You can get a vest from them for under $50, and they may not have all the bells and whistles that you'd get from a company like Spec Ops, but it's still a great vest for about half the price.

I second that recommendation. I've had one for 4 years, it's held up great.
I bought it from Ultimatearms on ebay.

I've got a MOLLE vest that I can configure in any way I like, but I'm switching over to a Battlebelt and harness setup

Doesn't sound very customizable at all for those of us who don't use pods... I'll stick with MOLLE

Ya but if it has Velcro you can add it.the only part you cAn't customize is the front.and it's good for carrying well anything.oh and it has removable thermals and a place to hold you mask while not in use.

I like the spec ops scout vest. Its a nice one size fits all vest. Not very customizeable, but not much needs done to it.

I prefer a Leapers or Condor Modular Plate Carrier (MOLLE).

I also use the BT Merc vest. I took it to OK D-Day this year and it was great! The built in hydration sleeve was a big plus and the MOLLE was obviously great. The vest is comfy, durable, customizable, and looks pretty sweet.

Full Clip outlasts every other vest I have every used. I have tried Special Ops Dagger X, Rap4, and most military vests. The Full Clip TCTL Combo Rig is the best, but it is very expensive. Especially once you start buying molle pouches for it, but it will last forever.

Core Tactical Vest!,only sites I found em on were paintballonline and some other site,I love this vest,it says it only holds like 8 pods but it holds 12!,it has a radio pouch as well as metal D hooks on the shoulders two pouches on the breast area and on the sides it's holds 6 12g so 12 in total and one breast pouch had elastic to hold 6 more! plus it's durable I've been using for 3 years and it's fine just one pouch ripped cause it got stuck on a sharp part in my room,it's fully adujstable to any size and has a big Velcro patch on the back and one on the front.boom I think that's enough info lol.
