For the field to use Ref's from another field is going to cost them a LOT compared to Sponsored Ref's who they have to pay little or nothing. Basically the field would not make enough money after paying refs and someone to do air to make it worth holding the event.

To be honest I want the control of having a reffing crew that I KNOW and not just hire out. If I hire out and get bad reffing from them it makes Paintball Ridge look bad and the MPS look bad.

paintball ridge has a 09 field so thay don't
have the tall cakes so thay sead thay will
just us a something thay have in place of them.

I will be coming to the Joplin event and I was wondering how to go about getting cleared to do some photography on the field. I will be coming with a team that is not yet registered.

As long as it's ok with Paintball Ridge and the team your team is playing it shouldn't be a problem. You would have to fill out a waiver of course.
