2013 Demon cutting O-Rings....

I've been going thorough the forum here and think I may have a few issues with a demon I just bought...
It leaks like a sieve.

I went through it when I got it, and replaced every O-Ring (man this thing takes a LOT :-)), the problem I seem to be having is that I'm cutting the O-Rings on the outside of the can.. sometimes it's the front one, but usually it's the middle one. No matter how much lube I put in the body of the gun to help slide it in, it keeps cutting. Am I missing something?

Second - I have the twisted can.. actually, I have two of them (when I bought it, they sent me a second can). I know I keep seeing that these are torqued to hell and need to be replaced, but is everyone SURE it's not some production change that went into new or PL guns?
I only ask, since I got two of them, and I can't figure out how you would torque them to twist like that - it's not like it's being held against anything when you are tightening the back?

Third - anyone see or hear from Frank? I see a lot of vague things about him being hard/next to impossible to get a hold of.... I'm a bit worried that I'm out of luck here with getting help and/or the parts I may need to get this up and running again...

LOL.. yup.
I am guessing that's an issue? Want to fill me in on the details?

Honestly, I'm fine with spending the time to get it running, but since it's a new gun to me, I was hoping for some help, but it seems like a lot of what I am seeing is bits and pieces about swapping some of the orings for Vitron and/or Poly. I was hoping there would be a (somewhat) current walkthrough. Heck, I'd settle for an animation of the bolt chain... :-)

The can is not supposed to be twisted at all. And as far as the o rings check inside the gun for the air exhaust holes here is the video explaining.

So Mace... help a brother out. :-)
I cannot for the life of me get the bolt to stop leaking. Air pours out the front down th barrel no matter what I do replacing the orings.

I've done the interior and exterior shuttle rings, the bolt guide rings... etc.
I just can't get it to seal when airing up.

Do you have an ideas for me?

leak down the barrel is coming from the one of the orings on the bolt guide, check the top most 011 then work your way down, next one is an 806.. if you change those 2 and it still leaks, change the top most 017 on your inner assembly and your leak will go away.

What ^ said. There are some demon maintenance tips on YouTube by shootnpoo I think you should have a look at. The Shuttle is known to stick open as well from over lube. Just watch some bids and you will be alright home. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hmm.. So I've gone through it again... replaced and greased the bolt guide rings and the inner front 017 as recommended by Chris.. and it still wants to leak - lots. Heck, I even flipped the shuttle around both ways (since I can't find a definitive pic that shows which way it goes...)

Is there an actual US service center? If not, Chris, do you service? Mace - I'd take you up on the offer to look at it (and I still might depending on the answers above), but I was hoping that I could send it somewhere that would have the spare parts in case it's needed.

I'm also really really curious for someone to let me know what the heck I'm doing wrong

I have three full engines for this gun all of which leaked when I received them. One of which was from a fellow buyer that could not find the solution.

Have you checked the manifold orings under the body? Many people tend to over lube this marker or use the incorrect lube, dow 55 is whats needing to be used here. Don't know what your using but just a fun fact incase. Check the orings on the manifold and also when you air it up have you tried to dry fire it as it leaks? Is the bolt engine holding enough pressure to fire after being de-gassed? if you need to I can pm you my number and we can try to discuss some solutions I would be more than happy too rather than you have to send it to me or anyone else.

I seem to have gotten the engine to hold air, but it starts to leak after a second or so... I am thinking that the reg is creeping. One thing I don't know how to check is that. Normally, I'd slip a gauge and fitting between the body and reg, but since the air tubes run through the body, I don't think that'll work?

Gun holds air, but won't fire. I'm thinking the shuttle valve is sticky or the dwell is set too low... That sound about right to everyone? Let's see what I can find out tomorrow...
