I don't see why that would be the case.
100 balls fired at 25 bps and 100 balls fired at 1 bps will exhibit the same amount of wear. When using a 25 bps ROF, the only thing that changes is the delay between shots. Your paintballs are not leaving the barrel any faster, or hitting the ramp any harder, so each shot would have the same amount of force, producing the same amount of wear. Same thing for breaks, nothing changes about how the paintball is fired, so why would there be more breaks in the Apex?
That being said, if you're shooting 25 bps, you're going through a heck of a lot more paint than the average person. So it may SEEM like you're having more breaks and wear because you're shooting 4 games worth of paint in 1.
